Now
What’s keeping me busy these days?
- Back in Mallorca after two months in Seto, Japan, where I completed an apprenticeship with a 13th-generation potter. Still processing it.
- Setting up a studio, sourcing a kiln and getting a space ready to work.
- Developing the Ireland chapter of Trace, my long-term site-specific glaze research. Planning specimen collection trips to Fermanagh and the Burren.
- Making creatures. Always making creatures.
What's keeping me entertained?
Reading: 32 Words for Field - Lost Words of the Irish Landscape by Manchán Magan
Listening: to Intermediate Spanish podcast.
Watching: Better Call Saul (late to the party on this one).
Learning: Spanish! I'm currently studying level B1 so a long way to go yet.
